Troubleshooter



Instructions

  1. Browse to the "Environment" page.
  2. If the graphs or the logs show that the temperature went above 50 degrees then the NTB will have shut itself down to avoid overheating.
  3. Check that the cooling fans are working on the NTB by sticking a thin strip of card or paper into the fan ports.
  4. If you feel a buzz on the paper strip then the fans are working and the circulation and cooling around the NTB must be improved.
  5. If you do not feel a buzz on the paper strip then the fans have stopped working.

Resolution

OK Problem Solved.

Error Overheating - Fans have stopped working.

Phone Contact your Dealer.

Arrange to have the fans replaced.

Error Problem still not solved

Send a Support Snapshot

  1. Optional: Preview an Image on the screen to reduce the load on the processor.
  2. Browse to the "Settings | Support" page on the NTB and click "Run" for "Create Support Snapshot".
  3. The NTB will create a file and prompt you to download it.("Server Error" message? Try again, don't leave out step 1.)
  4. Click the link below to start a new e-mail message.
  5. Attatch the downloaded file to the e-mail.
  6. Give a description of the problem and send the e-mail.
  7. Technical Support will reply with further instructions.
