Warning I have not read the User Guide yet.

Instructions

  1. Confirm that the multicast stream is available on the sub-net.(Install a program like VLC on a PC and see if it can receive the stream)
  2. You may need to replace network switches between the source of the multicast stream and the NTB with switches that are "IGMP aware".
  3. You may need to configure the switches to allow an UDP multicast stream to pass through.
  4. Browse to the page that has your playlist on NTB.
  5. Confirm that the Multicast stream has been added to the playlist.The streams should appear in the "Live Video" selection list.
  6. Confirm that the playlist is in the layout that will be shown on the Display Device at this point in time.
  7. Click the "Activate" button to make the layout appear on the Display Device.
  8. The Multicast stream should appear.

Send a Support Snapshot

  1. Optional: Preview an Image on the screen to reduce the load on the processor.
  2. Browse to the "Settings | Support" page on the NTB and click "Run" for "Create Support Snapshot".
  3. The NTB will create a file and prompt you to download it.("Server Error" message? Try again, don't leave out step 1.)
  4. Click the link below to start a new e-mail message.
  5. Attatch the downloaded file to the e-mail.
  6. Give a description of the problem and send the e-mail.
  7. Technical Support will reply with further instructions.
